Success rate of Artificial Donor Insemination

Abstract
|
|
|
I anailized 108 cases of artificial donor inseminations at Keimyung university hospital from Jan. 1988 to Dec. 1991 to evaluated its effectiveness and relationship to maternal age.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN Of the 108 women, 41(38.0%) achieved a pregnancy.
In pregnant cases the mean number of inseminations was 8.9, and mean number of cycles was 3.9.
The cumulative pregnancy rate after 2, 4 and 6 cycles was 13.9%, 25.9% and 31.5%, respectively.
As patients became older, lower conception rate was observed and more insemination cycles were requied to conceive.
